  • Not all of our roles include an assessment piece. However, if the role you are applying for includes an assessment, you can expect to prepare an assignment or presentation that will be presented/reviewed by a panel interview. To provide you with learning opportunities, your interviewer(s) will share feedback in the interview.

  • At D2L, we aim to run a standardized interview process to allow you to assess and learn more about D2L. This is the typical interview process you can expect, however the process may vary depending on the role you are applying for.

    Technical

    This is the typical interview process you can expect for Software Developer and Software Test Developer.

    1. 30 minute Phone Interview with a member of the People and Culture team (resume review)
    2. 30 minute Technical Screening Interview (code review and coding question, using whatever coding language you are most comfortable in)
    3. 2 hour Technical Interview
    4. 1 hour Hiring Manager Interview
    5. References and Background check

    Non Technical

    1. Phone Interview with a member of the People and Culture team (resume review)
    2. Hiring Manager/Peer/Senior Leader Interview
    3. Assessment: Scenario/Presentation/Take Home Assignment
