16th and 17th May 2022, Radboud University, Nijmegen – The Netherlands

D2L, together with Radboud University, is delighted to bring its flagship European event, D2L Connection, to Nijmegen on May 16th and 17th. After a break during Covid, this annual event is back with its first instance on the European continent. D2L Connection provides a perfect opportunity for learning designers, instructors and administrators from education and enterprise to gain practical skills in learning platform course design, implementation, and administration. Attendees hear from D2L experts and expert users of D2L’s Brightspace platform and can network with like-minded peers from Europe.

With a packed programme across two days, there is something for everyone with sessions covering technology integration, instructor enablement, learner engagement, data management, and platform administration and innovation. Happy to be back with live events, this Connection event will feature a keynote by Dr. Jeff Borden, VP of Academic Affairs at D2L as well as sessions on Education, Tech & Organization and Data & Organization with presentations by Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Leiden University, Radboud University, Wageningen University & Research, Ghent University and many others.

Bettina Schlass, Manager Customer Success at D2L, says: “D2L Connection provides an ideal space for educators, learning designers and Brightspace administrators to get together, share best practices and discover the full potential of Brightspace to deliver the best possible learner experiences. From those who are new to Brightspace to seasoned users of the platform, there will be opportunities to discover something new and to pick up tips on delivering learning outcomes.”

D2L’s experts will also be on-hand to find out from you how you use Brightspace, listen to your feedback and answer any questions you have about the platform. They will also lead a series of sessions and discussions exploring learner engagement and using the reporting and assessment tools.
