Effortless Data Management: Integrating Affordable Archiving and Future-Ready Solutions

During their transition to Brightspace, Saxion discovered an alternative archiving solution for its Blackboard courses at D2L Connection 2023. A solution that could seamlessly integrate with their new LMS. Faced with the high costs of maintaining data in a read-only version of Blackboard, Saxion found that K16 Solutions’ archiving solution not only retained course content and student data but also provided a fully functional interface, was better at retrieving larger archived courses and was more affordable. This innovative technology allows Saxion to access historical student submissions and course content easily and its integration also allows Saxion to sync historical course content from Scaffold Archiving to Brightspace. This session will explore key data management topics, including:

  • Compliance and Policies: Aligning data retention with legal and institutional requirements.
  • Data Deletion: Strategies for GDPR-compliant data removal.
  • Data Retrieval: Advanced methods for managing historical course content.
  • Future-Proofing: Future data management and archiving strategy

Join us to discover how Saxion and K16 Solutions are redefining data management practices for educational institutions.
