Sasha Thackaberry Ph.D.
Sasha Thackaberry Ph.D. Senior Vice President, D2L Wave

Dr. Sasha Thackaberry is D2L’s Senior Vice President of D2L Wave, with deep experience in innovative learning models and the effective use of eLearning systems.

With over 20 years of experience in education technology, Dr. Thackaberry previously served as the Vice President for Student Success at Pearson. She was formerly the VP for Online and Continuing Ed at Louisiana State University where she built an internal OPM with a stackable, pathway strategy moving from supporting 804 students to over 12,000 across the family of LSU institutions. She was previously the AVP for Academic Technology, Course Production and New Learning Models at SNHU.

She is the Chair of the Executive Committee for WCET, the Co-Chair for the Council Chief Online Learning Officers through UPCEA, on the board for Quality Matters, and on the committee for the CHLOE survey, and on the 7 Things EDUCAUSE committee. Sasha holds a PhD in higher education administration and an MAT from Kent State University.
