Kevin MacLeod

Kevin MacLeod is a Learning Experience Architect with D2L’s Learning Services. Kevin brings 15 years of experience as a learning strategist, instructional designer, and curriculum developer to his consultation work – collaborating with D2L clients to prioritize and optimize their work in online education. His experience spans a variety of contexts, including non-profits, member associations, learning organizations, post-secondary institutions, and corporate environments.

Margot Miller

Margot Miller is a product of a small agricultural community in the heart of the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York. A passion for documentary photography led her to pursue a degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Through the interaction with other creative disciplines at SCAD, Margot found an affinity for project management. While she wears many hats at NSHSS, her primary role is supporting the Intern Readiness Certificate Program and NSHSS.org

In addition to her professional work at NSHSS, Margot voluntarily leads multiple youth equestrian organizations. She enjoys expressing her creativity through photography, painting, and sewing. You can often find her on road trips, hosting a dinner party, or chasing a sunrise.

Connie Ryan

Connie Ryan began her career as a classroom teacher. From there, she became a trainer providing professional development workshops to teachers across the country. As school district budgets tightened, and taking teachers out of the classroom for professional development became an issue, Connie explored the idea of providing training using the Internet. In 1997, Connie created the Professional Development Institute (PDI) to provide online training to teachers with graduate-credit through UCSD. PDI currently teaches tens of thousands of teachers a year across the country and across the globe.
