Free Accredited Micro-Credential Series to Upskill Service Providers 

To support professionals working with autistic individuals, Autism Ontario partnered with D2L and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board to create a free, flexible and accredited training series. This 24-module micro-credential program offers up to 40 credit hours and is designed to enhance expertise through high-quality, accessible learning.

Theory to Practice: How C-BEN is Defining the CBE Experience Challenge 

In support of developing and deploying CBE programs, along with making knowledge more accessible from experts in the Competency-Based Education (CBE) community, the Competency-Based Education Network (C-BEN) launched CompetentU. Built on D2L Brightspace, the program teaches effective CBE practice through competency-based courses, empowering more leaders in the education, workforce, and training & development space to develop and deploy competency-based programs that are at the heart of education, learning, and development.

Upskilling Student Digital Literacy with Micro-credentials.  

Knowing that many employers prefer job applicants with a range of digital literacy skills, Austin Community College (ACC) launched a brand-new initiative to help students and faculty enhance digital fluency. By offering flexible, bite-sized courses certified with micro-credentials, ACC empowers learners to build digital fluency skills to better course completion rates while also preparing them for their careers.
