Harnessing Analytics to Boost LMS Adoption
SAIT worked with D2L to analyze student and faculty engagement with its Brightspace LMS instance and set a benchmark for measuring ongoing efforts to boost LMS adoption. By creating a successful faculty community of practice and improving integration between Brightspace and other systems, SAIT has seen measurable improvements in use of the LMS — contributing to improved student outcomes.

Keen to expand the reach of its post-secondary courses, Fanshawe College worked closely with students, faculty members and D2L to find new ways to make its resources easier for everyone to use. By building on its use of the Brightspace learning management system, the college has been working on a series of innovation projects that will help more students reach their educational goals.
Adapting to meet student needs
In the increasingly competitive job market, employers are placing a greater emphasis on education. Students from less-fortunate backgrounds often lack access to the courses that will help them gain marketable skills—but Temple College aims to provide equal opportunities to anyone who is willing to learn. With D2L’s Brightspace platform, the college has been able to double enrollment within four years by developing engaging, accessible and user-friendly online learning resources.
Building a Partnership to Drive Digital Evolution
To enhance its digital learning experience, Algonquin College wanted to simplify its complex infrastructure and replace six learning management systems with just one: D2L’s Brightspace platform. With the help of D2L and its community, the college successfully migrated over 35,000 course sites, trained 1,500 faculty members, and built a flourishing student ambassador program for the new platform within just six months.
